NFL Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott Joins Saama Technologies Advisory Board

Campbell, CA – October 2, 2007 –Saama Technologies, a leading provider of Business Intelligence and data management solutions, today announced the appointment of former National Football League star and Hall of Fame defensive back Ronnie Lott to its advisory board. Mr. Lott is co-founder of HRJ capital, a private equity investment firm with offices in Silicon Valley, Chicago, New York, Zurich and Shanghai which manages approximately $1.8 billion in assets. Mr. Lott also is a member of Young President’s Organization, an exclusive network of the world’s most influential corporate presidents.

In 1984, Mr. Lott began his investment experience as an early investor with Crosspoint Venture Partners and has extended it throughout the Sand Hill Road venture capital community over the years. He has further extended it to an extensive network of contacts within the greater financial services community at large, including the leveraged buyouts and hedge fund sectors. Mr. Lott is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration. He was a first round draft pick of the San Francisco 49ers. He was elected to the professional football Hall of Fame in 2000.
