Our Values

Saama’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Program

Case Study

Saama is committed to not only providing a diverse workforce that attracts talent from across the globe, but we believe in doing our part in taking care of the planet and those around us. Our ESG program is built on three strategic pillars: Improving our operations, taking care of our people, and providing strong products and governance.

Improving Our
Operations

To align with what science dictates as necessary to reduce the destructive impacts of climate change on human society and nature, Saama is in the process of committing to set science-based near-term emissions reduction targets aligned with the Science Based Target Initiative’s (SBTi) Criteria and Recommendations. By signing this Commitment Letter, our organization indicates an intent to join the growing group of leading corporations that are setting emissions reduction targets in line with what climate science says is necessary. By doing so, we recognize the crucial role the business community can play in minimizing the risk climate change poses to the future of our planet.

Taking Care Of
Our People

Saama is committed to providing a diverse, inclusive workplace where our talent across the globe can grow and flourish. We embrace and celebrate diversity of all kinds– nationality, race, ethnicity, culture, religion, gender, sexuality, etc. We take actions to ensure our employees feel valued and heard, as well as encouraging them to develop their talent.

Strong Products
and Governance
We are proud of the AI-backed products and services that we offer in the life sciences industry. AI is still a relatively new concept to the market, and we are proud to be ahead of the curve in maintaining AI governance and strong security. Because of this, Saama has established an AI Governance Framework to navigate the evolving regulatory landscape surrounding AI usage. Saama’s AI Governance Framework ensures that its AI tools are not only safe and effective but also designed with unbiased algorithm practices and standards. Additionally, our employees engage in annual training to ensure that they maintain the OneSaama approach – where we stand by our strong products and strong governance.
