Smart Data Query “Saved…an Entire Month”
As Pfizer scientists raced to develop its COVID-19 vaccine at record-breaking speed, they developed an innovative artificial intelligence (AI) tool with Saama to help achieve their goals.
Thanks in large part to this tool, called Smart Data Query (SDQ), the clinical team maintained an exceptional level of data quality, leaving minimal discrepancies to resolve in the final stages.
“It saved us an entire month,” says Demetris Zambas, Vice President and Head of Data Monitoring and Management at Pfizer. “It really has had a significant impact on the first-pass quality of our clinical data and the speed through which we can move things along and make decisions.”
